Coatings support the thermal conductivity, extend the life of the tools and improve the process properties of the workpiece.
Chrome Cr 0,5 - 1,5 %
Chrome has good wetting properties and affinity to diamonds. The retention can be improved with Cr3C2, which is released during the sintering process. It is used in metal bond systems.
Copper Cu 30 %, 50 %, 56 %
The copper coating can improve the retention of the diamond, expand the heat distribution and extends the lifetime of the tools. The coating is suitable for soft bonds.
Cobalt Co 30 %, 50 %, 56 %
The cobalt coating improves the retention of the diamond. Furthermore the cobalt increases the oxidation temperature of the diamond which increases the sintering temperature.
Nickel Ni 30 %, 50 %, 56 %
The surface of this kind of coating is smooth. The lifetime of the tools can be extended due to the extreme retention between the nickel layer and the surrounding bond. The coating can protect the diamond from erosion and at the same time expands the area of action of the diamond grit. This way the energy consumption is reduced and the cutting ability is increased.
Chemical Nickel CNi 30 %, 50 %, 56 %
Due to the very rough structure of the coating the specific surface is enlarged. The retention between diamond and bond, as well as the lifetime are improved. The energy consumption is reduced.
Nickel Spikey TiNiS 56 %, 70 %
The coating increases the specific surface and the retention between matrix and diamond. This extends the lifetime of the tool and improves the sharpness. Predominantly used in soft bond at reduced sintering temperatures.
Silicon Si 1,5 - 3 %
Silicon coatings increase the thermal resilience, the wear resistance and prevent the ability to disintegrate iron. Moreover the chemical coating improves the retention between the bond and the diamond.
Titanium Ti 0,1 - 1 %
The bubble free titanium coating prevents the erosion of iron, chrome and tungsten, at high temperatures, during the tool production. It improves the preservation of the bond and the diamond and therefore prevents the bursting of the grit and extends the lifetime of the tool.

Especially distinctive crystalline structure with high impact resistance and thermal strength als well as a uniform particle shape. It is able to absorb high mechanical stress in metal bond tools. Typical applications are in glass edge processing (automotive).
Distinctive crystalline structure of a slightly lower strentgh than CNF 3100. CNF 3090 is mainly used in metal bond tools and offers a particularly high stability even of high temperatures. Applications are in the automotive industry (glass processing, engine blocks).
High quality crystalline abrasive grit with a small amount of inclusions. The crystal shape is little more irregular and due to the inclusions less thermally resistant. Good strength. Suitable for glass processing, decor grinding, facet grinding and drilling of crystal glass, metal grinding. Used in metal bond applications.
This diamond grit still offers a high thermal and mechanical stress resistance. It is suitable for processing automotive glass and decor glass. Suitable for grinding wheels applied in areas with lower stress but bigger wheel widths and contact lengths.
Due to the composition of a variety of differently structured grain shapes CNF 3060 is suitable for a broad range of metal bond tool applications in the glass and ceramic industry. The composition makes the grit fast cutting. The amount of evenly spread crystals ensures the stability of the tool.

TiC
Titan Carbid TiC 1,5 %
Der Einsatz der Körnung mit Titan Carbid Beschichtung ist ähnlich der von Titan. Bei der Titan Carbid Beschichtung ist der Beschichtungslevel erhöht, die Kontaktfläche beim Sintern vergrößert sich.
The innovative grit for applications that have previously used diamond or CBN.
The advantages of both materials combined in a single grit for better erosion performance with longer service lifes.
CERATONIA DIAZON has a multi-crystalline structure that retains a sharp cutting edge throughout the griding process and continuously genrats ew micro-cutting edges thanks to its permanent self-shrpening properties.
Normally, a monocrystalline diamond has a macro-crystalline structure and breaks up into large pieces. Therefore, the use is ideal for vitrified bonds, resin bonds and honing tools.
